Yoshiko is the best friend ever and our friendship is both precious and longterm. I feel very very lucky to have her in my life–whether we meet in Tokyo, Seoul, Naoshima, or New York. And even when we are apart, we’re still close. In November, I’m hoping she will visit me in North Carolina for Thanksgiving. And, then next summer, we plan to travel to Vietnam together. Pretty good for a long-distance friendship, no????
